Suave meets street in this amazing collaboration between the Koko Master and Egeberi Papa 1.
The duo joined forces on Mind Over Matter, which is produced by Young D.
Timaya does not believe in changing what works so he stays true to his boastful self, talking about enemies unseen and seen.
The Egeberi Papa opens up with "Dem say we no go blow but we don blow,"
then staying true to his street cred says, "I am not here to harm you."
The lines of this banger show that things are changing.
Timaya talks about being on the street to hustle for his daughter and building a mansion for his mother.
He also tells us, in true Timaya fashion, that he has "Money in the bank, Ferrari in the garage, champagne in the glass."
D'Banj comes with a more enlightened mindset talking about Open Sesame and "mind divided by matter."
Though he still acknowledges that he is the Koko Master, he introduces himself by his new cognomen, Eja Nla, the Big Fish:
"Eja Nla straight from the ocean/me and Timaya causing commotion."
This is a playful, tuneful, rhythmic song that will crowd the
dancehalls. These two leaders of two different schools have got it good
on this one. Amazing.
