Rihanna at T in the Park: A huge entourage, a Harry Potter cloak and her own Wifi

Now we all know that Rihanna is an international superstar who obviously requires THE MOST special attention at anything she goes to. We think she may even have someone to hold the tissue to her nose when she’s got a cold.
So, when she turned up to play the main stage at T in the Park yesterday, well – we knew we were expecting some pretty strange happenings but we didn’t foresee all of them.
Oh no.

The area...

The Diamond’s singer brought around 100 people with her – which we can almost forgive her for, as she is in the middle of her world tour – but still, that is a lot of people to cram into a backstage area. Or, so you would think.
Clearly, she had this all in mind so set up at the back of the main arena was a HUGE area that was set aside especially for the star. We half expected to be a huge RIHANNA IS HERE neon sign, but instead, there was simply a sign that read: ‘This way to everything this way – R’.
You know – just in case she gets lost.

The wardrobe...

We managed to grab a quick peek inside – straining our necks in the process – and can confirm that Riri has an enormous wardrobe. It is huge. And on wheels. Crammed onto the rails were multiple outfits, including some rather saucy black numbers for her backing dancers. Well, a girl can never have too many outfits, can she?
 
So, aside from the enormous area – which we imagine was stuffed with all sorts of lovely things for her and her entourage to indulge in, she also had her own Wifi.
Yes, you heard us right. Rihanna had her own internet network. There is one for all of the artists to use – a generic one for them all to share, but no – Ri had her own.

The cloak...

By teatime yesterday – we still hadn’t managed to grab a look at star until, SOUND THE RIHANNA ALARM – we were back behind the main arena having a chat and a sudden hush came over everything.
People began to swarm around and although our necks had already taken a severe beating from all of our nosiness, we stuck it out one more time and began to shuffle forward.
Oh, after that is we were made to hide our camera behind a tent to make sure that she wouldn’t see it. Random.
Moving on. From the crowds of people milling about, a cloaked figure appeared from ‘her area’. For a second – we believed that we caught a touch of sun stroke and that Harry Potter was about to appear in front of us – but no.
Poking out of the front of the blue cloak was a wisp of blonde hair and as we jostled about, we saw it was Rihanna. Or the ‘cloaked one’ we have nicknamed her.
And with a swish of her material, she wandered off – possibly to a gold plated toilet that had been sterilised 100 times over.
You’ve got to love her style really.
